No Scanner? No Problem!
Free Glass Slide Array Scanning & Data Extraction
Don't have access to a compatible laser scanner? RayBiotech now offers free scanning services and data extraction for all of our glass slide array kits including custom arrays, quantitative, and semi-quantitative platforms.
1. How do I prepare my slides for shipment?
a. Ensure the slide(s) is washed sufficiently with Wash Buffer I and II and then completely dried as described in the protocol. If the slide(s) has any remaining debris, gently rinse with distilled or de-ionized water prior to drying.
Note: The fluorescent dye used is fairly resistant to photo-bleaching but it is still recommended that the slides are handled with care and kept away from direct exposure to heat or light.
b. Insert the slide(s) into the polypropylene 30ml Slide Washer/Dryer tube provided with the kit. Refrain from touching the slide surface, holding the slide by the edges only. Securely fasten the cap and wrap the entire tube with aluminum foil to protect it from light.
Note: Make sure that the Washer/Dryer tube is completely dry before inserting slide(s).
c. Wrap the Washer/Dryer tube in bubble wrap or other cushioned packing material.
d. Place the wrapped tube into a 6 inch x 8 inch mailing envelope.
e. Place envelope into the final shipping container on blue ice packs (4ºC).
